Such a great contrast of environments on this walk. Starting near the Pine Forest Park which has stunning tall trees and then beginning the trail which changes in to green covered rocks and tree trunks. It also has a section that you have to use ropes to scale down a few meters… if you wish to go down to the bottom of the water fall. I have a dog backpack for my little one, but do keep this in mind if taking your dog and you wish to go down. It was the only way i knew to go down.
Once at the bottom you find an oasis with a mini beach and if the weather is good, have a dip.
Then back out you come to complete the circuit trail and back to the Pine Forest.
This one was a decent hike and the trail was not the best marked so use the likes of AllTrails to keep on track, there is some handy comments in there from other users too.
But thoroughly enjoyed this one, very different from the standard flat road State Forest walks.
