Set on 4 acres of countryside, High Country Motor Inn Bright features free WiFi and an outdoor pool. All accommodation offers access to a terrace with lovely views of the gardens and mountains. There is also a children’s playground.

High Country Motel is 4 minutes’ walk from the Porepunkah Plantation State Forest and a 10-minute walk from Bright town centre, which offers a range of cafés and restaurants. It is a 3-hour drive from Mount Buller.

All accommodation includes a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms feature their own spa bath.

Ned’s Restaurant is open daily for breakfast.

Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 8.3 for a two-person trip.
