Forster Beach, Scotts Head is a great beach to take your doggos for a play, run and swim. There are two sections of the beach for dogs, one on leash and one off.

The on leash area is from the car park at the southern end of the beach (where the boat ramp is). However, as this is the surf patrolled section of the beach, you can only visit this area before 9.00am and after 6.00pm.

If you want to play off leash, you can access the beach from Banksia Crescent (behind the bowling club). But you must stay below the mean high water mark as above this is a National Park.

My two dogs, Dodge and Ellie love it when we visit the beach here.

If you want to make a weekend or even longer stay, Reflections Caravan Park which is behind the beach with direct beach access is dog friendly at certain times of the year.
