Chestnut Springs offers high standard accommodation on a 7 hectare farm. Guests have a choice of two self-contained accommodation options – The Cottage or The Loft.

The Cottage:

This 3 bedroom cottage sleeps up to 6 people and has 2 queen beds and 2 single beds. Small children are very welcome in their own porta-cot. Electric blankets, linen, towels and quality toiletries are provided.

The fresh and sunny open plan living area is air-conditioned and includes a comfortable lounge suite and dining setting. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with hot plates, oven, microwave and fridge. Coffee plunger, coffee, quality tea bags, milk and sugar are provided.

There is a huge deck at the front of the cottage and large paved area at the back, with a fire pit and BBQ. It’s a great spot to sit around during the evenings, weather permitting, and be amazed at how bright the stars are in the country.

The Loft:

The 2 storey loft apartment sleeps 2 people and is quite unique. On the ground floor is a large open-plan living area which opens out onto a deck that overlooks the garden. The lounge has a large flat screen TV and iPod/iPhone dock. There is a wood heater for those chilly nights which will be lit for your arrival. During the warmer times of year there is an air-conditioner and ceiling fan. There is a kitchen with hot plates, microwave and fridge, plus a small bathroom with shower, toilet and basin.

Stairs lead up to the mezzanine level which includes a large bedroom with king size bed, settee and large wall mirror. Enjoy beautiful garden views from the windows.

Your stay at Chestnut Springs can be as active or as chilled as you like. Enjoy the established gardens, wander around the lake or indulge in some day dreaming on the jetty.

There are alpacas and chooks you can interact with, but they won’t let you touch them! There is a very large dog-friendly enclosed garden will delight your dog if you choose to bring your pet with you.

The property is a haven for wildlife lovers. An abundance of native birds can be spotted, including king parrots, galahs, cockatoos, kookaburras and blue wrens. You may even see wombats and kangaroos.

There are 2 fantastic restaurants nearby which can be booked in advance for you. Gembrook Village also has an excellent IGA supermarket, ATM, baker, newsagent and several cafes.

Gembrook Park has well maintained walking tracks and the historic Kurth Kiln Regional Park, just 9 kilometres away, has a number of scenic walks. The Gembrook Market is on the 4th Sunday of each month at Puffing Billy Station. And of course, a must do for the kids is the iconic Puffing Billy train.

$180 per night for 2 adults sharing one bedroom.
Extra adults $60 each, children $30 each.
$50 cleaning fee per stay applies.
