This was a gift from family for
My husband for Fathers Day.
Upon arrival, we felt like we were a million miles away. Everything looked clean and tidy. However, bathroom had not been mopped properly and our feet stuck to the floor. We went to find a mop to use to clean it & mop was in the food cupboard, hard as a rock and unusable- clearly not used in a very long while. We looked at the food in the cupboard and mould in jars of supplied preserves & food years out of date. We were sick to the stomach. The smell of gas permiated through the house. We realised that it was from the gas bottles leaking, just outside the front door, hidden in a box. Obviously the bedding upstairs had been changed but the furniture hadnt been put back in place. We went to do our dishes and there was no clean cloth, just a dirty sponge from previous guests.
The house itself is gorgeous and the location peaceful, with its dam & vege gardens, fruit trees etc… and being able to bring our dogs was absolutely incredible, but seriously, Id be finding a new cleaner because that was sub standard & spray n wipe ‘mopping’ is lazy & really let the place down in a big way. Only 3 stars from us unfortunately.
