Built in 1840 and originally home to the Globe Hotel, Must Love Dogs Rutherglen offers luxury accommodation in a quaint cottage featuring two luxurious suites. Set on a corner block, the B&B boasts tranquil gardens that exude ambience, character, and charm.

**Cozy Atmosphere:** Enjoy a warm, inviting environment with an open fire, perfect for having breakfast or a romantic evening meal by our beautiful log fire in the heritage-listed dining room.

**Swimming Pool:** In the summer, don’t forget your swimwear! You can relax in our solar-heated pool and spa, which is fully shaded by a sail, making it the ultimate place to unwind and regain your serenity. Fluffy towels are provided for your comfort.

**Infrared Sauna:** We now offer an infrared sauna for our guests to use for a small fee.

**Pet-Friendly Accommodations:** We treat your dogs like our own! Pets are most welcome in the house, and our gardens are fully fenced with a well-maintained lawn area, perfect for your dogs to frolic.

**The Garden Suite:** This room has polished wooden floors and is very pet-friendly. Comfortably furnished with a leather couch, fridge, table, and chairs, it includes quality teas, coffee, and muscat. There is a TV and a large collection of DVDs. A single bed can be provided if needed, and the Queen-size Wenetex bed receives excellent reviews. The room features a private ensuite with a bath and shower, excellent lighting for grooming, and comes with bubble bath, quality shampoo, and conditioner. Velour bathrobes are also provided.

**The Chandelier Suite:** Sophisticated and elegantly designed, this suite features 12-foot ceilings, luxurious velvet drapes, and a stunning Murano glass chandelier. It includes a quality leather couch, a table, a fridge, a 50-inch TV with a DVD player, and your own espresso machine. The bedroom has a queen bed with luxury bedding and velvet bathrobes, leading to a private ensuite with a walk-in shower, complete with a disabled rail and heated towel rail. Each suite has its own private garden.

**Dining Room:** Our heritage-listed dining room features rugged brick walls and 14-foot ceilings that enhance the dining ambience. We are within walking distance of several restaurants and close to over 20 wineries in the Rutherglen region. We can personally design a 2-course menu “Just For You” using your favorite foods and local produce. This heritage-listed room is perfect for a romantic candlelit dinner, and you can also enjoy home-cooked breakfast here or outside in the garden area, where most guests savor their Devonshire tea.

**Picnic Hampers:** Available upon request, our picnic hampers include some of the finest local Rutherglen produce, such as local cheeses, home-cooked meats, pickles, salads, fruit, freshly baked bread rolls, and crackers.

For your comfort, the house is equipped with air conditioning and heating to ensure you will always be comfortable during your stay. All floors are original polished timber.

Three times, we have stayed at Must Love Dogs. They offer the best dog-friendly environment. We adore how each room has a private courtyard attached. Amazingly, Chris and Charlie go above and above for their clients. I have taken the canine-friendly wine tour twice. The breakfast is equally fantastic. This has got to be the most enjoyable and pet-friendly lodging we’ve come across. Even in the pool, dogs are permitted.

We had the most fabulous time at Must Love Dogs.
Not only were the pups spoilt (treats on arrival), it so were we! We had the most fabulous Devonshire tea, and the breakfasts the Charles made were spectacular!
Chris was a fantastic host and helped us enormously- making reservations for us (and the dogs) at some of the local establishments.
Rutherglen is a super dog friendly town (thanks no doubt to Chris and Charles’ passion and enthusiasm. After a hard of day of wine and cheese tasting, it was lovely to relax in the swimming pool at the BnB.
