BARELLA CABINS provide the perfect getaway for all ages seeking a quiet country experience. Set on a cleared 25 acre block in a quiet rural valley, the 3 Cabins are fully self-contained, 2 with a Queen Bedroom & 2 Single Beds in the Loft, 1 with a Queen Bedroom only, all with Lounge/Dining room, modern Bathroom and well equipped Kitchen. There is a gas BBQ and outdoor furniture setting on the veranda. All linen and towels are provided, plus tea and coffee making facilities, cereal, milk for your first morning and a bottle of local Mudgee wine. NB. Minimum of 2 nights stay.

Mudgee’s famous vineyards are 10-15 minutes away. There you can sample some of the local wines. Great shopping and cafés can be discovered in the Mudgee and Gulgong Townships. The Cooyal Hotel is a small country pub just a short drive away, and provides a generous lunch and dinner for a reasonable price.

The Cabins have magnificent views and overlook the Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve and Castle Rocks. There is an abundance of native wildlife, so expect to see kangaroos hop across the property early morning and at dusk. Also look out for wombats, emus, wallabies, numerous native birds and the resident wedge tail eagles that nest on the top of our hill.

Relax on the verandah and overlook the valley and the Munghorn Gap Nature Reserve with a glass of wine from one of Mudgee’s famous vineyards. Only 20 mins out of Mudgee, BARELLA CABINS have everything you need for the break you deserve!

Come and view the incredible night sky. There is little to no local ambient light and on a moonless night you will see an incredible array of stars and the clear band of the Milky Way. Lie on your back on the grass after the sunset light has gone and count the satellites, clearly seen as a point of light travelling across the night sky. Bring your telescope!
