This must-visit eatery is the oldest cafe in Blackheath! It’s known for it’s fun, eccentric ambience and is adorned with colourful artwork and a ceiling mural. Wattle Cafe is all about that classic country charm and attracts a big local crowd. The outdoor tables are pet-friendly, so your pooch can relax and recline as you knock back a much-deserved coffee. 

If you’re visiting for brekky, you can’t go past the pesto mushrooms and poached eggs on sourdough or the eggs benny. There’s also a vegan and vegetarian breakfast on offer. For lunch, pick up a sandwich loaded with Mediterranean veggies, chicken breast or smoked salmon, or fill up on their delicious Persian feta tart or flathead fillets. Wattle Cafe is open 7.30am – 4pm daily.
