Consisting of five cottages, lodge, hall and campground, King Parrot is a popular destination for romantic getaways, family holidays and large family celebrations. The architecturally designed accommodation is fully self-contained, ranging in size from single to four bedrooms, accommodating between two and fourteen people. Each offers superior comfort, stylish, rustic character, and privacy with stunning views of the surrounding hills and bushland. With modern amenities, a barbeque, fireplace, and deluxe bedding in each cottage, a comfortable stay is assured whatever the season.

Our charming cottages offer a warm embrace, welcoming you and your furry friends to a world of comfort. While our cottages aren’t fenced, rest assured your pets are free to explore indoors, but we kindly ask they keep off furniture and beds.

There are acres of accessible terrain waiting to be explored at King Parrot. Take a hike through the gorgeous bush tracks, exploring diverse terrains from the rainforest valley floor to the north facing side of the Pennyroyal Valley. Follow the mossy creek through fern gullies and beneath towering eucalypts and discover our private waterfall.

There are many and varied activities within the King Parrot grounds, nearby in the greater Otway Ranges and along the Great Ocean Road. Our in-ground salt water swimming pool next to our children’s playground. The nearby Games Room features table tennis, fuse-ball, air hockey, darts and many board games. Attached to the Games Room is a small gym for those days when the weather keeps you indoors. The gym has a treadmill, bike, rower and dumbbells. For the energetic, there are walking tracks around the valley and along Aquila Creek through the rainforest-like environment, which includes giant ferns, waterfalls and towering native trees. You can fish for yabbies in our dam at certain times of the year (equipment is provided you just need to bring the bait!)
