By day you can choose to stroll through the ancient mossy trees and giant tree ferns at Melba Gully, which abuts the property, and then experience the large colony of glow worms by night.

Within the Great Otway National Park, the lush rainforest of Melba Gully and Madsen’s Track Nature Walk is just minutes away. The Otway Fly Treetops Walk, Triplet, Hopetoun and Beauchamp Waterfalls as well as the popular surf spot, Johanna Beach are all close by.

Centrally located, Otway’s Nelly Nook is within a leisurely drive to Apollo Bay, Cape Otway Lightstation, Port Campbell and the 12 Apostles and the Great Ocean Walk is practically on the doorstep.

Myrtle Beech Cottage is located within 17 acres of tranquil gardens, rainforest gullies and open spaces. This cottage is fully equipped and self contained with all the comforts of home so you can make the most of this beautiful location. With 2 bedrooms and generous living areas, fruit trees, a dam, a wood fired oven and pristine rain forest gullies.

Blackwood Cottage will surround you with its raw, rustic charm while providing all the modern comforts you should need to enable you to enjoy the beauty of the Otway Ranges. The property includes a spacious living area with wood fireplace and a spacious fully equipped kitchen while the upstairs loft style bedroom boasts a king size bed (or 2 x singles upon request).

Both cottages are pet friendly but please bring your own pet’s bedding.
