Beautiful location, spectacular setting but that’s where it all ends. There are only 2 pet rooms and one of them is appalling, with a bird poo infested courtyard and a full garbage bin with filth everywhere. The other room is marginally better with a cleaner courtyard. There is nothing pet friendly about this place, there are no dog bowls, dog beds, treats or anything. The welcome documentation only tells you what you can’t do rather than what you can do, especially when it comes to dining. We were told to order something and take it to our room however there are no table or chairs in the room. Dogs are allowed in the reception area but not in any of the dining areas or restaurants. We were able to compromise by sitting at one of the bar tables in the reception lounge and order from the restaurant which had to be brought up and down an extensive staircase. The restaurant staff were exceptional and literally went out of their way to accommodate us, 5 stars for them! I really wouldn’t recommend this place for pet stays, it just doesn’t work and hasn’t been thought through. There is huge room for improvement and obvious potential.
