This park is located on the site of the Ropes Creek Train Station that was part of the Ropes Creek train line, originally built in World War II and closed in March 1986. The park, opened in 2014, features the remaining platform, overhead beams, rail tracks and old machinery as historic design elements.

The children cycle path is a great learn to ride location with lane markings and mini traffic signs.

This reserve links with a walking track that extends through the Ropes Crossing neighbourhood with outdoor fitness equipment located beside the pathway.

Your dog may run off the leash in the designated off leash areas of this reserve, but it must still be under your control (e.g. obey voice commands).

All areas are signposted to designate the off leash area within the reserve. Dogs declared as dangerous or restricted breed type dogs are prohibited from the off leash area. This is a fenced dog park.

It is required by law that dog droppings must be removed and disposed of correctly.
