The Mountain View cabins have the most spectacular views! Beautiful spot to see the stars. A perfect place to wind down and relax. BBQ, fireplace and hammock available. However, the re is no reception. Area is not fenced and there are lots of kangaroos around.

Turon gates is about 70 kms from mudgee – our weekend here was so good as like being a million miles from anywhere – we walked and walked the track along the Turon river was amazing we went in the middle of winter so we could have campfires and marshmellows and so we didn’t have to worry about snakes ….. the accomodation options are cabins or camping we were in a riverside cabin and had a lovely verandah that was escape proof which is important when the Roos come to visit – definitely going back
