The Experience: Enjoy scenic tracks and trails, from rugged gorges with amazing rock formations and majestic gum creeks, to high ridge tops, where resident wedge-tailed eagles are often seen playing in the updrafts. The views from up there are breathtaking. Take advantage of country hospitality in the B&B, camp in secluded sites or try our rustic Mountain Hut, with camp shower and a flush toilet!

About us: Catninga homestead is a short 26k’s drive East of Port Augusta at the base of Mt Brown or an approximate 2 k walk from the Heysen Trail. Built in the late 1800’s Catninga has been run as a sheep and cattle property until recent times when the owners, Heather & Brian have downsized and followed their interests into cattle and horses.
