ABOUT US
Pet care that is recommended by Vets across the Lower Hunter area.
We come to YOU as there are Sitters in your area.
We will lovingly mind your pets in their own safe and familiar environment.
We will feed and play with your animals, clean their yard, cage, or litter tray, and
give prescribed medication if required.
We will care for those unusual and unique pets that have fur, fins, scales or claws.
We will walk your dog in your local area (no group walks).
We will take care of your plants, mail and bins too!
We also check daily on the security of your home.
SERVICES:
Feed & Clean:($30 /visit) recommended for those that need a short break of 2 – 3
days. Daily feed; clean yard, litter tray, or cage.
Professional Visit:($40 /visit) recommended for those that are away from home for
3 – 10 days and are security conscious. Daily feed; play; refresh water; clean yard,
litter tray, or cage; collect mail; bins out/in; water plants; check all doors/windows.
Walk + Service: (add $15/dog to service fees)
Dog Walk (only):($22 /walk) recommended for those that are working long hours.
Daily 35 – 45 min dog walk on a leash.
House Sitting:($ 80 /night) recommended for those that will be away from home
longer than 3 consecutive days. Overnight stay – 7pm to 7am. Daily collect mail;
bins out/in; water plants; lights switched on and off; blinds opened and closed.
Extra Daily Visits:(add $20 for each visit) recommended for elderly, sick, or younger
animals especially during the warmer months. Water bowls checked, animals fed,
medication given.
SERVICE DISCOUNTS:
15% off rates for services after 10 consecutive days.
SURCHARGES:
Sundays / Public Holidays $10 ea
Christmas Day/Boxing Day / New Years Day $20 ea
Extra pets (>3) $10 ea
Travel: some areas may incur a travel fee of 80c/km ea visit.
CANCELLATIONS:
A cancellation fee will be charged for bookings that are cancelled. See below for details:
Low Season:
If more than 14 days notice is given: 1 day’s sitting fee.
If less than 14 days notice given: 10% of total sitting fee or 1 days sitting,
whichever is greater.
Holiday Season (19th Dec to 9th Jan & Easter):
If more than 14 days notice is given: 2 days sitting fee.
If less than 14 days notice given: 50% of total sitting fee.
Late Notice (booking made less than 6 business days before start date): 50% of
total sitting fee or 1 days sitting fee.
MAKING A BOOKING:
Ideally, the first time you use ‘The Critter Sitter’ we’d like at least two weeks notice.
This allows us time to find the best Sitter for your pet/s. You and your pet/s will
also need an introduction to your Sitter. However, if you have less than two weeks
before your holiday, please contact us and we will do our best to help you.
DEPOSITS:
School Holidays: 50% of total sitting fee.
Other Times Of Year: One day’s sitting fee,
The deposit is required at the time that you make your booking.
PAYMENTS:
NB:The balance of the payment for your booking is due two weeks prior to you
leaving (three weeks for school holiday bookings).
We accept direct bank deposits, cash
