School holidays are officially upon us. And with them, the hunt for the perfect family getaway begins!

When you’re travelling with the whole family in tow,  you need accommodation options that are super accessible, affordable and equipped with all the essentials.

In our experience, a fabulous caravan park fits all this criteria. And what’s even better? PET FRIENDLY caravan parks – so your fur-baby can holiday by your side.

We’ve pulled together some of our favourite pet friendly caravan parks across the NSW Coast. They bring the goods when it comes to quality facilities, affordable accommodation and great locations.

Nambucca River Tourist Park

This award-winning holiday park has something for everyone. As Nambucca’s only 4-star holiday park, you can choose from powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites,  luxury villas and self-contained cabins. Nambucca River Tourist Park boasts a gorgeous waterside location, where you can make use of the private fishing jetty, pontoon and boat ramp, or take long leisurely walks along the riverside.

Enjoy their newly upgraded facilities including a spa and sauna, pool, camp kitchen, conveniently located amenities and free gas BBQs with outdoor seating. Kids will have plenty to do, running between the giant jumping pillow, playground, outdoor chess and putt-putt course.  Your pets are completely welcome at the park at no extra charge.

Mid-way between Sydney and Brisbane, Nambucca River Tourist Park is the ideal base to explore Macksville and the surrounding areas of Bowraville, Scotts head, Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour.
