Whether you’re a couple looking to hit the road with your pooch, or a family embarking on a road trip, we think there’s nothing like good holiday parks. Especially PET FRIENDLY holiday parks. Affordable, accessible and boasting everything you need for a fabulous getaway, they have something for campers, caravaners and cabin-dwellers alike.

We’ve pulled together some of the most popular, pet friendly holiday parks in NSW, to make your summer holiday planning a breeze.

Tathra Beachside Family Park, Tathra

Tathra Beachside is an award winning park that boasts over 500 meters of absolute beach frontage. Situated in the pretty seaside town of Tathra on the beautiful Sapphire Coast, this stretch of coast has been recognised by Australia’s Coastal Wilderness for its unspoilt landscape and absence of crowds.

This family park is 100% pet friendly and offers a diverse range of accommodation options to suit all needs and budgets, from luxury 3 bedroom beach houses to shady grassy campsites and everything in between. Most impressively, there’s a serious waterpark to delight the young and young at heart.

Reflections Holiday Parks, Pambula

Conveniently located within an easy stroll of the cafes, art galleries, boutiques and restaurants of Pambula Village, Reflections Holiday Parks Pambula is the ideal pet-friendly accommodation to enjoy all the South Coast has to offer. With a range of powered and unpowered sites for tents, RVs and caravans, this is great for families of all sizes.

The park is situated amongst some gorgeous natural surrounds, like Pambula River Mouth, Panboola Wetlands and the nearby attractions of Merimbula and Eden. Pambula is known for their oysters, so be sure to enjoy the fresh local fare. Sight-see by bike, go for a surf at Pambula Beach or simply enjoy a casual tennis game on the on-site court.

Dogs are permitted year round, provided they are on leashes and dog waste stations are available throughout the whole site.

Byron Bay Holiday Park, Byron Bay

Byron Bay Holiday Park is a proudly family-owned and run accommodation that welcomes people and pets alike. Only 5 minutes from the town centre, you’ll get the authentic Byron experience while still enjoying the peace and quiet of this tranquil location. Situated on 28 spacious acres of parkland and a stones throw from dog-friendly Tallow Beach, you’ll feel like you’re off the grid amongst the natural surrounds and native wildlife.

Choose from classic campsites, comfy studio cabins or architecturally designed villas – there’s something to suit every budget. With plenty to do onsite, you can enjoy the park cafe or the Alchemy Wellness Centre, take the kids to the playground or the bike track or make the most of the onsite tourism booking agency. Dogs are welcome at all camping sites, with a number of pet-friendly cabins also available. Dog wash bays are located across the park and Tallow Beach is on your doorstep, where your pooch can work off that holiday energy while you soak up some sun.

Nambucca River Tourist Park

This award-winning holiday park has something for everyone. As Nambucca’s only 4-star holiday park, you can choose from powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites,  luxury villas and self-contained cabins. Nambucca River Tourist Park boasts a gorgeous waterside location, where you can make use of the private fishing jetty, pontoon and boat ramp, or take long leisurely walks along the riverside. Delighted to have found your site. We are an elderly couple who have just done our last camping trip, thank heavens! Our small dog is very well behaved.
Do you have any information on cabins in VICTORIA? We live in Kyneton and don’t like driving for more than a day at a time.
